Next week is it Hawk. I have told the mister that I will work on the tractors 3 days a week. That is all he gets. I need one day a week for yard work. One for house keeping like it should be done, and two to play!

Hawk, we just opened a new aquarium at Science City. Nothing like Atlanta's, but still ok for the kids. Lots to do at the K for kids too.

Will have to check out the aquarium too, sheesh, I live in KC for 8 years and nothing, now the P&L district, Legos, aquariums, etc...probably not so bad on the unemployment % as StL either these days.  Changing my name to Murphy.

why is phil fulmer in the hall of fame? what did he ever do? and remember he had Peyton Manning for 4 yrs.

good point Catfish, the Angels are getting what they paid for, an older fading superstar who crosses over leagues to find out the AL is a lot different from the NL, all that cash and pressure is diminishing his skills even further, LA is NOT Saint Louis.  Still waiting to see Deirdre on next seaons Real Housewives show

rokp--pujols is a hof hitter. what is old man hatcher going to tell pujols that he doesn't already know? i don't get mlb hitting coaches. the hitters are there bc they could hit in high school, college and the minors. they've seen a million curveballs, sliders, fastballs, changeups etc. what does the hitting coach do ? they said charlie manual is a great hitting coach ? he played in japan. he couldn't make it to the major leagues so if he couldn't hit mlb pitchers - how great of a hitter is he? now if it was ty cobb or ted williams or tony gwynn, that's different. hatcher ? please.

Baseball season's young yet.  The records won't count for much till after the all star break.  All a team has to do till then is stay close...within seven or eight games would make me happy.

Whoops, that was supposed to be a PM.

I've been away for a while, fellas (and phoggy).  The thread is just limping along.  No bad does undoubtedly contribute to that.  He definitely had a unique way of looking at things.  lol

And it's more than a week after the anniversary, but my condolences to catfish about his mom.

See Catfish, our friends are here, yay for Magill and Chief and am sure Phoggy will pop in and maybe Rok and Yam and others.  I know they all post on several threads while you and I stick to one or two...there is one called the Thread IV or something that I posted on but like all threads with tons of folks, they go so fast and then when I go back 4 pages are full and I don't have time to read all that.  Good people though, just have to budget my time.

My thoughts with you on your Mom as well, on my vacation we went to Iowa first and I visited my grandparents graves, very emotional for me.  I think I will just go with cremation and ask my kids and wife if she is still alive to take a trip and spread my ashes on a beach somewhere in the Caribbean...now if reincarnation is real, that will be interesting, I would likely come back as a hermit crab, but I don't believe that myself.

Good to hear from Chief and Magill.  Chief, at least the Royals aren't in last place this year, so far.  I personally like the girls...hahahaha, have a great "Monday" all.
