I saw the Howard game on Friday night and what a difference a year makes. The recruiting class looks great and last years players have some experience under their belt. I really enjoyed watching the game. It was only Howard, but still was happy with what I saw. Should be an exciting year.

Ole Miss is usually competetive, so that should be a good game. It would just really nice to see IU put a few of the close games away this year. They were so close so many times last year.
Kentucky and Miami(OH) are playing now. I plan on staying up for the next 24 hours and watch the marathon on ESPN. |

did you see the Colts game last night?Ha, life is beautiful. What a bonehead Bellicheat is... very aggressive call to go for it on 4th and 2 from your own 28.

What's up kids?
Bellidouche is pretty one dimensional. Did you hear his postgame answer? Total Mr. Monotone, "We called a play, we made the pass, not sure how we couldn't get 1 yard on the play, but I guess we didn't." Uh, actually coach you did get 1 yard...too bad you needed two dip****. |

Actually, I don't blame him for making that call. Punt it, and Peyton pulls his tricks from 65 yards, instead of 29. So, I see his point of view- but damn- he is catching a boatload of crap for that one and it is freaking hilarious! Yea, like I said, it was a very aggressive call. Think about it. What was the last thing you saw from the Colts offense? A 90 yard drive in like 1:35 taking no timeouts. Not a very good set of odds if your making the calls. The real problem for them was using their timeouts too early.

Dang computer....
Vikes look good, but can't stand Childress. Favre seems to be having a blast. Gophers are going to another tidy bowl game. I wish the bowl committee would pass on them. I turned the channel last night and fell asleep. It was a big surprise to see what happened. The look on their coaches face says it all - too lazy to spell his name. |

on a side note, UK is down at the half; but don't get excited it's only 3 points, and they were down 14. I would venture to say UK wins this thing by 25plus. That's awesome. UK struggled with Morehead St. in their first game too. I think UK fans are fooling themselves if they still think this team is just going to step on the court and beat the crap out of everybody. This is the first time these guys have played together. They'll get better every game, but it will take a little time.

Oh yea, love BTN. Apparently, Ft. Wayne is a market that doesn't switch away from the Michigan/Marquette women's game. Looks like I'll be joining in after this game. I hate BTN. Why wouldn't every market in Indiana be switched? Idiots.

BTN finally came to their senses and left the ladies game since Michigan was up 16 with 90 seconds to go.
Nice to see Pritchard make a couple FT's. |

Maybe I spoke to soon about keeping up the pace of the game...it's a little too fast tonight with a lack of decision-making.

Are you serious? Who would ever think it is a good idea to try a bounce pass to Jobe between three defenders? Maybe Hulls can settle things down and make some good decisions.

Rivers has talent, but I am already kind of sick of his shot selection and bricks.
