It's very simple....OSU doesn't play anybody!
The Tiger's have more overall talent, but poor coaching decisions and a lack of field discipline are going to be the difference in this game. There are some great matchups in this one. LSU doesn't have the explosive type of offense that will give the Buckeye D huge troubles. They'll definitely score a few touchdowns, enough to keep it close - maybe even another OT game (it would only be fitting given LSU's season thus far). OSU's playing with a chip on their shoulder (i.e. they don't belong here). It looks like Perrilloux managed to stay out of jail so far (and that's no small feat), and that's the guy (offensively) who can throw a wrench into it all and screw up my prediction. Look for Wells to run away from Dorsey, and post big second-half numbers. Here's the final: OSU 34 LSU 24 (and yes, you can take that to the bank).

After I saw a sub-par Michigan team take it to Florida I have to think that the Big Ten is a little stronger than predicted earlier in the year. Ohio States Defense is a powerhouse and I don't see how LSU will be able to over-come that

I didn't mean to say someplace better for him. I just meant that I think he is a very stand up guy, and can't stand OSU, so I "wish" he wasn't there. And no I don't wish he coached the school I root for - he is too conservative of a coach for my liking!
Being a die hard buckeyes fan I know what it is like to taste crow after what happend last year, though I am still going to be a homer and say OSU wins 24-10. Two scores will come thanks to the "Mad Hatter" and his bone head play calling. I say he tries to get too cute with the fake fg's/fake punts/ 4th down going for it. After the fact all LSU and Buckeye Fans will unite by saying "I wish he would have went to michigan!"

I'm wondering if everyone will say that the Bucks will be playing a cupcake schedule next year when we go out to USC and beat them in the Rose Bowl in week 2. That is going to be the game of the year... (next to OSU beating the team from up North for the 5th straight time).
By the way... LSU deserves the shot over USC because they lost in OT twice. (Standford killed USC's chances) Georgia needs to take advantage of Tennessee next year to give themselves a shot. OSU plays other Ohio schools to keep the $$$$$$ inside our boarders..... not becuase they are scared to play anyone tough. The Bucks have a home and home against USC the next 2 years, Miami (FLA) the following 2 years after that... Morons dont realize how far in advance these schools have to set their schedules. Give them a break! Kent State was only added to the scheduled because the NCAA said you have to have 12 games., hence keeping the money "in house".
