but Freese is just a solid player...not the stud you are portraying him to be because he had a great World Series last year.
I get it Austin...he's a very good player, but just because his hitting coach says he's going to be "special" doesn't mean he is now. He's batting .325 this season with 6 HRs...no doubt that he is an upgrade over Headley, but given the fact that he's not within 30 points of Edwin Encarcion (still shocked that Dave just dropped him) and is within 10 points of 11 other players (none of which are in the Top 5) tells me he isn't quite "special" just yet.
I'm convinced someone will see value in my pitching staff and decide that they don't lose very much taking a player that understands how to get on base and improving their SP rotation by adding a Top 20 player.
Don't hold your breath on me dropping any of the SPs I currently have on my roster...only Josh Johnson has me even remotely concerned about his YTD performance and even he is still striking out players at a high rate (25Ks in just under 29 innings). Now Headley could be dropped at any moment that I feel there is a better player available, but right now I'm comitted to making a deal before the end of the weekend if I can pry away the right player.
If you want to part with a 23-28 year old stud pitcher, then yes you can have Freese. Ditto on Jones as well.
so as long as you aren't targeting Cliff Lee, I'm sure we can reach some sort of agreement.

But its nice to see a lil chatter on the thread, and now I know how to get SJ's attentionI bet you could get my attention.
I heard about Seau's death earlier but I just found out that it is a possible suicide. Wow.
And B7, are you serious? Young for Morrow?? #4 SP for #2 3B? Dude, Young is a #1 3B who is just not doing it right now but soon will be. And Morrow is a bum who you already dropped and picked up again and are soon to drop again.
C'mon man! SJ is right, win for you and screw me! The only people I want to be screwed by is Mrs. H4E, lol.
