Sam, I like both Roddy and Fitz better than Nicks, and they're both pretty good at staying on the field. I think whoever is at QB Fitz will rack up the yards; it's the TD totals that may not be so hot. Roddy's on a better O, but I think he'll end up playing second fiddle to Julio. That'll make two fine fiddles, though. But I still lean towards Fitz.
Well TREFF I think you hit it on the head when you said I wasn't gonna keep Roddy any way so I think I will make the trade. Then I'll shop Fitz and see what I can get for him and if it's not enough then I will probably keep him. BTW, draft order is in...............I got 6th, Will, we will be sniping each other (you are 5th) and Foot is 11th.................now we will get to see Foot show his stuff. DUB is #1 and Dog is #2 and that is all I remember. Sam
Hey TREFF, I didn't lie! I said me and Will would be sniping each other but it looks like you an Will will be sniping each other too. I think I like my spot and I'm pretty sure I'll get one of my guys.......and maybe another one of them on the way back................now let the fun begin! How long till FootNick starts posting asking us who we are drafting? Sam
even if trading draft picks were allowed..good luck finding anyone in this bunch willing to trade down..without dealing your first born anyways. we've got a league full of fair dealers, but i'm not so when it comes to the draft.
1) These are private leagues, but they're still free leagues, and we have No Commissioner other than the theoretical CBS commissioner. So we can't do anything fancy like adjust scoring or swap picks (sorry, Doc).
2) Respect trades. Everybody in both leagues (yes, even Foot) has a good sense of what they're doing and the value they're giving and getting, so no trade vetoes please.
3) League B Drones: there are two "drone" teams in the B league, and the details are posted on this thread (check back to August 3), but basically they will be autopicked and then adjusted to 2 QBs, 4 RBs, 5 WRs, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DST, starting lineups will be determined by CBS projections, and they will be active on waivers on a liited basis according to a formula (also based on CBS projections). Drones don't trade.
4) Relegation: after the season, the top 2 B league teams move up and the bottom 2 A league teams move down. But if the B league has 120 more total points than the A league, FOUR teams will move, and if the B league has 600 more total points than the A league, SIX teams will move. Top teams are determined by 1) SB champ, 2) regular season breakdown champ, 3) points champ, 4) SB runner-up, 5+) power rankings (ties broken by wins, then H2H, then breakdown record, then highest points against). Obviously if the SB champ is also the breakdown champ, the #2 team would be the points champ, etc. Bottom teams are determined by power rankings and the same tiebreakers.
