I don't know where I came up with that 8. I've never played an 8 team league.

I'll take a spot if there's any left. Always up for a good challenge.

I must have my head somewhere else - wish to nominate 'averagejoe' if space is available.  If anyone has kept thing active for the past few months its him.

Hey I just thought of something. How cool will it be when Foot starts a WSIS thread and we all answer him under different ID's? I can see it now......
Foot: Who should I start this week, Andre Johnson or Brandon Tate? I really think this is the week tate breaks out!

My new ID will be Sportboy Sam(that aught to trick his ass). Answer would be something like...............Well, Foot, I really like Tate this week too! So what if they are playing the Jets, their pass D sucks and no way Andre has a big game against the Titans(again).

Lefty - we would have loved to have Average Joe, but he's trying to control his FF jones and politely declined. If others send him messages maybe we can wear him down. (Come on, Joe, just one more league, mountain-grown, you're gonna love it....) 

eqfan - Eh... everybody else here has seen each other on these boards for a while, so you'll need one or two of the made guys to seriously vouch for you.

DUB -- I remember your technical posts more than you laying out for players, but at least you've been around. I turn your fate over to the jury.

Hey, I know who is missing................kinda. Can't remember his ID but I remember his avi had a bathroom door that said "Ben at Work". Think is was like porn or something like that. He was a regular last year for most of the year. Also I have no problem with DUB or Yellowfuzzy if he wants in too. BTW, how many are in so far?

That was OrgyGoneRumble. Haven't seen him around in a while. I imagine some of the regular crew will only come back to the boards once the lockout is over, so I'm not in a hurry to lock up all 12 seats.

That leaves five open slots right now, maybe six if Joe can resist.

DUB is right on the threshold and just needs a nod from any two among Treff, Lefty and Scapegoats. Yellowfuzzy didn't ask in, but I'd also have no problem with him.

That would leave just three or four spots. No word yet from Boomers, Titanfan, Dog or Crumblin' Herb. De-Proselytizer would also deserve a spot.

I would take a spot if worthy. I, like TREF, am a Colorado guy. I will be walking out of the mountains on 8/21 from a week long backpack trip, so I would need to be set to go by 8/13. I will follow the thread to see my fate a far as inclusion.

Idaho is beautiful. One of the few mountain states that I have not hiked.
Mountains are great place to live and operate out of, but don't make them sound too good or we will get overrun-worse than we are now.

Guys, I'm really touched by your efforts to recruit me. You're making this very difficult to say no.

Have you considered DuffBeerDoug? I don't think he's joined the fantasy board yet this season. But he'd be nice addition to your league.

Another couple guys (that I'd personally like to recommend and) I haven't seen yet is boobam13, KC express and ed1bigblue1.

Maybe it's too early to be forming leagues? I wouldn't feel comfortable with my draft if I drafted this early in the season. Especially with so much up in the air with free agency and the labor union. Just food for thought.

I'll take that as not a No yet, Joe. (To make it more difficult, the draft itself isn't until August 21, so we'll know who's where, who's hurt, and who didn't train over the summer.)

44Diesel has been pretty regular on here - I'd give him a vote.

I would say De-Proselytizer needs an invite. But if you put it together it's up to you. I'm looking forward to a league that we can talk about players we like and what to expect from each unlike my other leagues where anything another person says is either common sense or total bs.

Keep us on the fence owners up to date once yawl know whats, what!  Until then I'll be balling, talking ball and walking the dog!

I don't recall anyhting about any of the guys that Joe mentioned, so I'll stay out of the nominating on those guys.  Just because I don't remember any posts form them doens't mean they weren't there, nor that they weren't greatly helpful.

I dunno about Orgy..it seems like he was the one and only person that had a bigger problem with Foot than I did.  Some of the back and forth between them seemed a bit over the top.., I tried to leave it at football..I'll leave that up to everyone else as to whether we'll deal with that drama in the league or not.
