Ray Davies tours regularly, but brother Dave can not play any longer I believe due to a serious motor vehicle accident a few years ago.  Dave was so seriously injured he had to relearn everything, including speech.  No guitar playing though, I think, since the accident.
I thought I read that he had a stroke.  Either way, I don't think he's regained all of his dexterity.

Here is an article that I found that talks about his stroke and also his return to performing.

In October that year(2011), Dave Davies quashed rumours of a reunion, stating in an interview that although he loves his brother, "I just can’t stand to be with him. About an hour with Ray’s my limit, so it would be a very short reunion."

Yeah, stroke...at any rate I can find no evidence of Dave actually playing in public since that stroke, and with other former bandmembers either passed on or in their late 60s, I'm guessing a reunion is not in the cards.  However, as Dave noted in another interview, "Ray's been playing faux-kinks shows for several  years now",  so there you go.

It's too bad the Davies brothers can't put their differences aside, but then again that slow burn is what made the music so great. I don;t think you can have one without the other in some cases.

I love that song.  Would love to hear the PJ version.
Eddie is a huge Neil Finn fan, and has actually had Liam Finn open for him on one of his solo tours. What's funny about this cover Koy is that you can tell they'd never played it before, because at the beginning before they launch into it you can actually hear Eddie teaching the song to the other guys in the band-just yelling out the changes. Such an awesome, impromptu live moment-the kind that are the reason I love live music so much.

I will try find a link to it so you can hear it.

"Now My Feet Won't Touch The Ground" - Coldplay

"Friction" - Television

"Round and Round and Round" - Buffalo Springfield

"I Got S hit(Live)" - Pearl Jam
Another tune from that same Pittsburgh 2000 show that the Split Enz cover came from. Originally titled "I Got Id", and recorded with Neil Young on guitar during the Mirror Ball sessions.
