Does the Weeden pick look ANY better now?

Yes, now that they drafted Swartz at OT.  Wink

We needed a wideout first IMO. Should have went for Stephen Hill. I liked his 6'4" height. Now we'll get some schlub in the late 3rd.

Are they saying the same thing they did this time last year? The WRs on the team are very talented?????

Maybe Colt McCoy sucked worse than we thought...

I would still like to see Greg Childs with that second 4th rounder we just acqired to go along with Chase Minnifield...

Boy, feels like forever since I've been on here... Irish, they can say all they want about the wideouts on this team, the only one worth anything is Little. I just don't understand this draft...

I thought d line was one of our few strengths. I want a wr too and a cb and an olb. WTF****? I hope Heckert is some kind of genius because the last three picks were reaches on most people's boards. The dlineman was rated 500 something by cbs.

Rumor has it that the Browns got punked by the Vikings with the 1st round trade.
Rumor has it that the Vikings didn't have a trade partner and tageted the Browns
because they saw an opportunity to get additional picks and still get their man.
With this trade, plus the fact the Browns picked a vertual UNKNOWN in round #3
instead of a MUCH NEEDED WR, people are wondering if the Browns even have a
Clue as to what they are doing.

I honestly do believe the Bucs were trying to trade up ahead of the Browns to
get Richardson.  If you noticed as soon as the trade was announced the Bucs traded down in round
#1.  Then they traded by up at the end of round #1 to draft the 2nd best RB in
the draft.   So I believe this rumor about the Browns getting punked is just most
trash talk.     However, this lastest pick in round #3 (afrer trading down 20 spots) was
a total joke and embarassment to the Browns organization.   I would have preferred
they traded down again if they were not going to pick the best WR on the board.

I am begining to believe that just maybe H & H might in fact be clueless after all.

As I see it the best WR that I think is still available is WR Marvin Jones out of
California.   He is 6'2" tall, 215 Lbs, and runs a 4.46 40, and he was very impressive
in the Senior Bowl as a stand out WR.    Hopefully he is still available when the
Browns pick 5th in round #4.  Hopefully they won't do something stupid like maybe
pick a PUNTER.     They may as well because it looks like they are going to need a good
one.

So Top Dawg, do you still think H & H is on FIRE?

Even if they have some sort of big trade going
on where they package Colt McCoy and a 4th round pick for a starting
WR, I am still not going to be over this last pick in round #3.

I mean seriously, did the Vikings call Heckert and tell them they
were going to grab the kid from Cincy, so they better draft him NOW.
HUGHES was a HUGE REACH, not a player of great need, and he would have been
available in other "LATER ROUNDS".

What in the he1111 is going on in the Browns War Room?

I can see why Hillis wanted to join the CIA, he wanted an investigation opened as to why the Browns can be so bad for so long, pick 87 offered a key piece of evidence.Yell

Just when I finally came to terms with the decision to draft Weeden in Round #1,
I thought to myself "okay", I guess H & H know more than I do, apparently they
do not have confidence in Colt McCoy like I do.  I assume they know best.  If that's
the case then maybe it's better to make the move this year if their that sold on Weeden,
Then I'm looking for the Browns to draft WR Rueben Randle in round #2, but no they draft
Tackle Mitchell Schwartz instead.  Okay, they also needed a tackle, but I would have
preferred Jonathan Martin, but again, H & H must know best.    But, now I'm worried they
won't get WR Randle.   So now I'm hoping the Browns trade back up in round #2 and get
Randal.    NOPE, doesn't happen and the Giants grab Randle with the last pick in round #2.
Now I am really T'd off.     So I start looking forward for the Browns pick at #67, but wait, what's
happened here, (THE BROWNS TRADE DOWN) What the F$%^&.  Okay, then it's finally their
turn to draft in Round 3 and they pick WHO????????????????  You got to be kidding me.

Now all I can do is cross my fingers that H & H get their heads out of their A$$-0s and draft
WR Marvin Jones out of California so that they will at least have a WR Prospect that we can
at least hope can be a starter for us this year.

It's a good thing I already re-newed my season tickets in the Dawg Pound because
after that last draft pick I might have decided to move to Tennessee permanently.

Who am I kidding, I'll probably always be a Browns fan.   I guess I should be use
to these things on draft day.  It never seems to amaze me though as I watch the Ravens,
Steelers, and even the stupid Bengals pick players I wanted the Browns to pick.   You
hardly ever see the Ravens and Steelers reach with their picks.  They draft very well
and always seem to have players fall right into their laps and they don't hesitate to grab
them when they do.

It's just frustrating is all.
