 iverson is the greatest guard ever in the nba

 yeah that is right on, you hit the nail right on the hed

 as a piston's fan i am disappointed for the piston's because they had no foresight to what will happen if they picked up iverson outof denver and trade billups,a quality point guard,as of now i think they still made a bad trade right from the get go.but the still is not yet complete they still have some draft picks from that trade that has not been finished, so it is still up in the air how this trade outcome will pan out,but as of now it is still a bust if you asked me,getting iverson is not the answer,really he is not the ANSWER neede for the pistons, he can't fit the piston's style of play, and being selfish is one trait that makes iverson am misfit to the system implemented by the pistons.the comments made by iverson that he is willing to come out of the bench is a big joke. he has a big ego that is not his style, he had said a lot of things that was not true in the past, so believing him is not one of the things that i am inclined on doing.

there is nothing the piston can do now they can't trade him this season anymore so better to just let him play up until this season and let him go if the gm is thinking of signing him then better change the whole team on iverson and build on him which is the worst thing that can happen to the pistons, when he was playing they are in total disarray losing games after games when he was playing. the whole detroit philosophy of sharing the ball was totally thrown out of the window when he is playing as a starter so what will make it any different if he comes off the benc, i know i can be harsh on iverson but look at his record all you can see that he can score and that is all and that summarize what i am saying that ihe is just a selfish ball hog and that is all he is good for, he is totally lost on the team concept of basketball. and if iverson just wish to get a title he should just go to boston or la , he will surely get one if he plays for those teams just please not in detroit.

This is crazy.  Allen Iverson is a starter and one of the best guards I have ever seen in my life!  Stuckey should be the one coming off of the bench!

As a Piston fan I think Curry should have had  the wits to bring AI off the bench from the beginning bc he would make our second team alot better.  As a bench player he most likely would be on the court with our Amir, Maxiel, and Afflalo which means he would be counted on to take all the shots and control the ball while the above mentioned players play D and make hustle plays.  I see AI thriving in that role if he embraces it 100% and also see the Pistons becoming a great team in that scenario.  If and thats a big if AI does that I can see them bringing him back as our 6th man for a couple of more yrs in  a role where he plays less minutes but probably takes as many shots and provides the team with instant offense without disrupting the team chemistry on the court.
